Skeeter Creek Candles is a family-owned and managed small business in small town, USA. It was begun in 2005 by Thomas "Brad" Brown. Upon his tragic and untimely death in 2010, the business was given to his sister-in-law to continue the legacy he had begun.

Hi! My name is Jennifer Brown, and I am the owner/operator of Skeeter Creek Candles. My brother-in-law Brad loved to make candles. He learned how to do it from a visiting friend who said his house needed some "ambiance." And lo, a passion was born. He passed some of his knowledge on to his niece - my daughter Mariah - when they had their own special get-togethers. Now, as Mariah has gotten older, she and her brother have both begun to learn the business, both the manufacturing and the sales aspects. My husband, Stephen (Brad's brother) has been an integral part in the creative, behind-the-scenes side of the business.
